A frail by ‘with it’ older lady is seeking a Sharer for her home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

Due to her reduced mobility, she would really benefit from some practical help around the house including picking up shopping, cooking/heating up around 5 meals each week, washing up and cleaning the kitchen, putting on/hanging up a wash, ad hoc other practical help and errands such as collecting prescriptions, plus the friendly company and reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight in case of an emergency.

Please note that the lady is Muslim, so no pork or alcohol are permitted in the property.


The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom and shared bathroom and use of the flat’s facilities. There is a communal garden and parking available. It is a very tidy and clean flat, so this would suit someone who is also naturally meticulously tidy and puts things away, hangs up their clothes etc

The property is conveniently located 10 mins bus ride from Wimbledon Station (BR and underground), 10 mins walk from Southfields tube, and short bus rides to Putney Bridge Station and East Putney tube.

The lady enjoys current affairs, talking to friends, watching the news, TV drama series and reading biographies. She has previously had a Sharer living with her, and her family live nearby and are very involved with helping to support their mother.

The ideal Sharer will be a mature, friendly and reliable, non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests and is happy to give the practical help.
