En-suite room in Wimbledon

My lovely flatmate is sadly moving abroad, which means her double furnished room will be available from mid/late Jan (exact dates tbc)

The flat is in a nice private block, 12 minutes walk from Wimbledon station (national rail/district line/tram) and around a 25 minute walk or a quick lime bike to South Wimbledon station (northern line).

The room has a double bed, with its own shower room en-suite. The shelving cubes, drawers and bedside tables currently belong to my flatmate but as she’s leaving the country I am sure she would sell to her replacement. The flat looks out onto playing fields, so you can look out onto green space! The lounge has a small balcony and has desk space if you sometimes work from home. I am a teacher so will be out every day (except half terms!). There's a communal garden space out the front and secure underground parking with guest spaces if you drive. Sainos is a 10 minute walk away, alongside gyms, shops, restaurants etc.

Bills are around £200 pm (incl. council tax band F) although this can of course vary throughout the year.

About me - Im a 27 year old maths teacher and absolutely love living here. I'm a small town gal at heart so the out of city feeling this place has is perfect for me. I'm friendly, clean and considerate and would expect the same in return. For fun, I love basketball, keeping fit, netflix, but equally enjoy a cheeky drink that may or may not end up being a night out! I'm also a vegan, so its preferable if you are but not essential as long as there is respect.

I'm ideally looking for someone to be friends with as well as housemates. Someone who would enjoy games nights, movie nights and having dinner together would be fab. But equally my job can be extremely exhausting and sometimes I do like to just hermit in my room. Would love to live with someone who is open minded and down to try the adventures that London can offer!

Deposit is £1125 and the rent is locked until October 2026, but I should imagine the tenancy can continue after this.
