My current flatmate and I have lived together for 2 years, but he’s now moving to Essex with his girlfriend - so I’m looking for a new flatmate to share this lovely place with 🏡
About the Area
I’ve been in London almost 5 years, always lived SW and I can honestly say this is my favourite place I’ve lived. If you’ve been to Wimbledon Village, you’ll know how gorgeous it is - beautiful streets, lovely pubs and cafés, local independent shops and Wimbledon Common on our doorstep (great for walks, runs, picnics, etc.). Just feels like such a wholesome, green, safe area.
About the Flat
The flat is spacious, bright and full of natural light. The room is massive, with great storage space. We also have a really big living room and fully-equipped kitchen. When friends/guests come over they always say it has such a nice feel to it.
A Bit About Me
I work for a global corporate travel company, running their employee benefit & wellbeing program. I usually work from home about 1 day per week (occasionally twice), and sometimes I’ll be in the office all week.
On the weekends I love hiking, anything outdoors and catching up with friends. I enjoy a few drinks but I’m not really a big party person. My last flatmate and I became good friends with each other’s friends, so I enjoy that relaxed social vibe too.
Who I’m Looking For
I’m hoping to find someone who loves the area and the flat as much as I do, keeps the place tidy and respectful, is friendly and easy to get along with (it's only a two bedroom flat, so it’s important we get along!). Want it to feel like home.
Lease & Practical Info
- Lease runs until September 2027- ideally you’d want to stay until then
- Rent is approx £1,400/month including all bills (council tax, water, gas, internet etc.)
- Flexible move-in date, but the agency/landlord asks for ~8 weeks’ notice for references/contract changes
Transport
15 min walk to Wimbledon Station
15 mins to Clapham Junction from Wimbledon
20 mins to Waterloo from Wimbledon
About 1 hour door-to-door to Gatwick
Plus District Line and National Rail
Bus 200 is 3 mins from doorstep
