Spacious double room available in a two-bed flat in Wimbledon from 9th June. My current housemate is moving back to Italy, so I’m looking for a friendly, tidy working professional in a similar age bracket to me (no students please).

📍 Location
Quiet residential cul-de-sac with a passage straight to Wimbledon Station (10-min walk). High street, pubs, gyms, restaurants, cinema, and the lovely Wimbledon Village all nearby. Sainsbury’s is a 5-min walk, with larger supermarkets also close.

💷 Costs
• £900pcm each (£1800 total) + bills ~£250/month (broadband, council tax, energy, water, TV licence)
• Small communal pot (£10–20)
• Deposit £1038.46
• First month’s rent in advance, agency reference checks required, no contract fees
• 12-month joint tenancy, to be secured by 8th April

🛏️ The Room
Furnished double: bed with storage drawers, large wardrobe, bedside table, drawers & sofa. Dehumidifier & air purifier included. Extras like air cooler and lamp will also be left behind.

🏠 The Flat
Fully equipped kitchen with cutlery, pans, coffee machine, and air fryer. Small shared dining/lounge area for relaxing or working from home. Plenty of space as we both have sofas in our rooms too. We deal with the landlady directly if any issues arise - she’s lovely and hands-off, and often brings homemade dim sum or baked treats when she visits.

👋 About Me
I’m Josh, 34, from Manchester, and work in TV 10am to 6pm. I usually work from home Mondays and Thursdays (with the occasional extra day). I tend to use the dining/lounge area when I’m WFH, but I’m happy to share it and can easily work from my desk in my room too if you need the space.

Friendly, sociable, and down-to-earth - I love music, gigs, records, film, and watching sports (F1 and football).

Looking for someone respectful, clean, and easygoing. I don’t mind if you have a partner who stays the odd night now and then, but ultimately this is a two-bedroom home for two people.

I’m keen to find the right fit - someone who’s happy doing their own thing but also up for the occasional wind-down locally, like a roast or a walk now and then.
