Flatshare in Wimbledon

Our housemate Patty is moving out to live with her partner so we’ve got a double room coming up in our Wimbledon house share from the 18th of May

All three of us.. Calum (29), Padraic (29) and Alex (32) met through Spareroom and have genuinely become mates. We’re sociable without being in each other’s pockets, there’s usually something on at the weekend, the odd house dinner, but equally no pressure to be best friends by Tuesday. We’re looking for someone who’s easy to live with and up for being part of the house rather than just renting a room in it

We’re open to anyone, guys or girls equally. Patty who’s moving out survived living with Padraic and Alex for nearly 5 years.. which we think says something good about us, though admittedly she’s the only one who could say for sure 😄

The house:
Open plan kitchen, living and dining room with bi-folding doors onto a garden, plus a second sitting room downstairs we use as office and storage space. Washing machine, dishwasher, two bathrooms so you’d only be sharing one with a single housemate. There’s also a small bonus room that works well as a guest room, dressing room, extra storage, or office space.. we’ve really got more space than we know what to do with

The location
Seven minutes walk to both South Wimbledon (Northern line) and Wimbledon station (District line and National Rail)

The neighbourhood
Practically speaking it’s got everything. Within easy reach you’ve got Nuffield, Anytime Fitness, Third Space, Virgin Active, a leisure centre, plus PureGym for good measure. Supermarkets are well covered.. Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons all within reach, which means you can be a meal deal person or an organic sourdough person and the neighbourhood will support you either way. Lots of independent shops and local businesses too, so you rarely feel the need to trek into town for anything!

You’ve also got the parks, the village, and genuinely good transport links - Zone 3/4 without feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere!
