An older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as shopping, cooking up to four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items and putting out the bins, watering the garden and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed. The lady still drives, but if the Sharer was a driver, occasional driving would be a bonus.

The accommodation on offer is furnished double bedroom, use of a bathroom with shower and bath (shared with other guests), and use of the kitchen and garden.

The property is in a lovely residential road in Wimbledon, close to the heart of the village and the open spaces of Wimbledon Common. There are several bus routes. It is approx. 10-15 mins walk to Wimbledon Station. It is well-presented so this would suit someone who is very naturally clean, tidy and organised.

The lady is friendly, interesting and easy to talk to. She is very interested in antiques, sings in a choir, does aerobics and enjoys seeing her family and friends. She also has a large cat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
