A lovely room is available in a friendly house in Wimbledon, available from the beginning of November. If it works better, there is also the option to move in during the last week of October.

We’re looking for someone around 30–35 who is friendly, social and enjoys a good balance - someone who likes a walk in the common, going out for drinks or dinner, but equally enjoys a cosy night in with a glass of wine and a home-cooked meal. 🍷🍝

We’ve both moved across from South Africa and work as a teacher and social worker respectively. We both spend between 3 & 5 days per week in office and would have a preference for someone who also has a hybrid working schedule.

Bills are not included in the rent and are approx £200 and include WiFi, water, gas & electric, council tax (paid across 10 months of the year) and a cleaner once every two weeks.

The house is rented unfurnished, but we’ve furnished the communal areas ourselves over the years so you wouldn’t need to buy anything new for this area. Depending on whether our existing housemate takes his bed or not, you may need to purchase a bed and mattress, as well as possibly a desk. If these are left behind, there would be the option to purchase from our current housemate.

Ideally, you’ll be clean, considerate and looking to make a home rather than simply rent a room. We’ve lived in the house for a good few years and love it. We’re excited to welcome our next housemate!

We will likely offer a block of viewings on either a Saturday or Sunday due to our work schedule.
