Double room to rent in Wimbledon town centre

We are looking for a new housemate! We’re looking for someone laid back, GSOH, who’s looking to make the most of living in London in their twenties!

Jennie works in retail head office and Alison is training to be a social worker, both generally working 9-5ish. We both work hard and enjoy crashing out in front of the TV, and catching up on some sleep. When we’re all free, we enjoy sitting down to dinner together, having a drink or two, heading up to the village or into central for something fun.

The room is a light and airy double in a first floor flat sharing with the two of us. The room is furnished with a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and double bed. The communal area is not huge, but comfortable and homey. Virgin tv and broadband. We are on a quiet road in Wimbledon, smack bang between Wimbledon and South Wimbledon stations. It’s less than 10 minutes walk to either, and Wimbledon centre also offers shops, restaurants, gyms and the cinema.

We tend to buy the basics communally, and cook together if we are all in. We aren't keen on cleaning rotas but all chip in when we can. Our landlord lives in the house behind us. He leaves us to our own devices, but is on hand just in case!

We are looking for someone to move in on or about the 8th August. Rent is £430 a month which includes electricity and water. Bills are usually an average of £100 a month. The street has permit parking, £90 for a year.
