Live in a safe, leafy and quiet residential area which is a few minutes walk to Wimbledon Common (Parkside) and the tennis courts.
Great location for those who enjoy jogging and prefer to be in an area where the air is fresher, more trees, greenery, safe and less traffic and people.

My name is Christopher and I am looking to rent a single room with a single bed in my home.

Please kindly read and note the 'Looking for...' and that the bills are included in the rent. See the paragraphs below that explains in detail about the rent and bills.

Room has:

- solid wooden single bed (see picture) with orthopaedic mattress and sheets
- good storage cupboard
- under bed roller storage unit
- roller blind and curtains
- new white wardrobe (not in picture)
- chest of drawers
- wooden standing book shelf unit
- Sony 28" tv

Storage:

For its size the room has reasonably good storage with both a cupboard and a new wardrobe that is ideal for hanging shirts. There is also a hanging rail in the cupboard.

I am able to store a large suitcase elsewhere in my home - happy to provide further details on request There is a side room for a bicycle.

Home has the following:

- good size modern kitchen.
- modern bathroom. Powerful shower operated through a combination-boiler
- separate toilet (w/c) downstairs
- gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, washer-machine, fridge/freezer.

Further external storage space for minor items might be available (we can discuss the terms for using this).

Location, Travel and Information:

Home is not far from Wimbledon Village. Situated in a peaceful area, relatively safe residential, with parking, both on and off street, (enquire about this) available within minutes walk.

Southfields Station underground District line is 12 - 15 minutes walk (or 39 bus takes 3 mins to station)

Bus stops are approx 4 minutes walk away: 39 to Putney, Southfields, Wandsworth, Clapham); 493 to Richmond, Roehampton, Putney, Southfields, Wimbledon and Tooting, and 93 to Putney, Southfields, Wimbledon and Cheam)

Shops: Local small shops (4 mins), Southfields (14 mins walk), Wimbledon Village (4 mins by bus) Wimbledon Town Centre (10 mins by bus) and Putney (15 min by bus).

- currently free unrestricted parking available in bays in front of home or parking within one minutes walk.
- a few minutes walk to Wimbledon Park, Tennis Courts and the Common. 2 minutes journey by car to Wimbledon Village, 7 minutes to Putney and 8 minutes drive to Richmond Park.
- good area for recreational use - walking, jogging/running.

About me

I am a straight male, former professional civil servant. Londoner born and raised and of South American origin. Would further describe myself as friendly, down to earth, helpful, tidy, reliable and trustworthy. Not a party animal, relatively quiet and considerate, respectful towards others.

Looking for someone ideally for a Mon to Fri let who is similar to myself and in full time employment - works 9 to 5, away in the office. and doesn't work from home.

Sorry, but strictly no smokers, pets or couples, part time workers, or anyone wishing to work or run a company and/or business from my home. Students considered on a case by case basis and rent might be higher.

Availability, rent & bills :

The rent includes bills - gas, water, electricity, council tax and internet fibre optic fast speed broadband.

Short term let considered. If 7 days agreed, not Mon to Fri - rent is £650pcm. Short term rent considered at £720pcm.
