Large double room with newly renovated ensuite

The flat is large and airy, conveniently located just two minutes from Wimbledon Chase station as well as two supermarkets, a Costa, the local pub, and other restaurants and cafes. There are buses to Wimbledon and South Wimbledon stations or either station is a pleasant 20 minute walk through leafy residential housing. Wimbledon Chase station also has direct trains to Blackfriars and St Pancras in central London.

The spare room is large (too large for one photo) with a king sized bed, a work desk if necessary, lots of storage space as well as large windows that get lots of sun especially in the evenings. I have just completed renovations on the ensuite and have added a walk-in shower with a rain shower head as well as new stylish fixtures and fittings. The room also comes with a new all-natural mattress, a solid-wood bed frame, and blackout curtains for the room, and most of the other furniture in the flat is also brand new including the dining table and the kitchen appliances.

I work freelance as a translator but prefer not to work at home but head out to a café or pub. I like to cook and always like to keep a well-stocked fridge, and keep myself fit by running around Wimbledon Common throughout the year. I also like to hang out and chat while watching a bit of TV, go out to watch movies, go the theatre or sporting events when I can, and often head off travelling whenever the chance arises (so you will be called into action at times to water the numerous plants in the flat).

As you can tell from the photos and the bare walls, there still is some stuff that I am hoping to get for the flat to make it feel more homely. After years of flatting in London, it is great to be able to have a flat where everything works properly and things are not falling to pieces and I hope to find someone who will be happy to make it home as well.
