Hi there! If you work near Wimbledon/Clapham Junction/Victoria/Waterloo and live out of London, this might be the ideal place for you. It's right beside Wimbledon Park and the district line underground. 5 minutes from British Rail and is generally well connected.
The home: We would share a kitchen which is especially great in the summer as it leads onto the garden and has a BBQ, a few sets of tables and chairs. There's a bathroom with shower, a very good sized yet cozy and bright living room with two sofa/sofa-beds (so lots of space for spreading out in the evening). I have set up a policy to keep us both Covid safe and have hand-sanitiser on entry.
The bedroom is a very small/single bedroom (hence the 3/4 nights let), with a super-comfortable double bed. It has an open out desk/table, small full-length mirrored wardrobe, storage in the bed as well as some storage outside the room. Its towards the rear of the house, with a black-out blind on the window.
There are two extremely sweet male kitties (Milo and Harley) who will keep you company when I'm not around. I have flexible hours, but at the moment I work from home in the day but I have evening work outside the house, so I'm often not around in the early evening. If you like a busy house with lots of other tenants you might find it too quiet. I am friendly, easy-going, and very used to sharing. In fact, I like having someone to share with.

CONNECTIONS: It's 3 minutes walk to Wimbledon Park station (district line) and 5 minutes from it to Wimbledon/Wimbledon BR which goes to Clapham Junction and Waterloo in minutes. The District line takes you to Victoria in 25mins and a bus at the bottom of the road takes you in to Clapham Junction in 25 minutes, also.
DETAILS: The room includes bed linen and towels. There is no need to do any house work (just your own room) and of course bills are included. There is very good fibre broadband.
LOCAL AREA: It's safe and pretty. There is free parking on the quiet tree-lined road EXCEPT between 11-3pm, so if you use your car for work it will be free in the evening and morning. There are shops, cafes and restaurants around the corner (from 3 minutes walk). There are two entrances to the fabulous Wimbledon Park on either side of the house.
