Hello!

We are on the search for a lovely flatmate to move into our flat in Wimbledon Village as our current flatmate is moving out of London! We have a bright, lovely double room up for grabs in a prime location within Wimbledon. We are well connected to transport links - it’s just a 17 minute train to Waterloo, the district and northern lines are also both within easy reach and of course lots of bus routes on our doorstep!

About us:

We live in a gorgeous flat and would love a like-minded female around similar ages to us who will fit in with our home life. We are 29 & 33, work full time sociable hours, both hybrid during the week and enjoy catching up on the sofa and a Netflix binge!

We like to hit up the local pubs and restaurants, enjoy fitness as well sunny walks through the Common which is located on our doorstep (also great for sunbathing!) We are looking for someone who enjoys a well kept, tidy flat and who would like to make this a home and be up for catching up over a g&t and wine in the evenings as well as an occasional night out! We both have our own lives too but of course enjoy that we have a much loved comfortable home life to come back to!

Move in date will be mid-late November 2024 but there is flexibility with this date if needed.

The Flat:

We live in a lovely two floor flat on Wimbledon Village high street. It’s the perfect location and we only share our entry door with one other flat next door (two females around a similar age!)
On the first floor we have a huge living room with all the furnishings including a gas fire for those winter evenings. Also as wfh has become the new norm, the room has plenty of space for a desk for your office setup! We have a large kitchen with lots of storage and the main bathroom would be shared with Alice (the master has an en-suite). On the second floor, there are three bedrooms including the double room we are looking to fill. The flat is unfurnished, is well looked after and in good condition all round!

The Bedroom:

The room is a large double bedroom that's bright and has a large sash window that overlooks the quaint high street. The room comfortably fits a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers as well as a side table and desk. The room does come unfurnished but our flatmate is up for selling some of her furniture if there is interest, however if you have your own furniture then this is totally fine!

Rent/bills:

The room is £1070pcm and on average our bills are roughly £170pcm each. Our tenancy agreement means that this rent price will remain locked in until January 2026, so we have peace of mind that there will not be any unexpected increases along the way! The deposit would be £865.38. The flat is owned by a property management group who are great landlords and the tenancy contracts are set up via a letting agent.
