QUIET STREET LOCATION
There will be two bright double rooms available in February 2025. Both rooms need to have new housemates in place by 14th January 2025 so that the estate agents can do their checks and the contracting.
It's a 4 bed house in but would just be 3 of us in total plus a 14 year old cat who is very lovely and loves a cuddle! The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac.
The first room is furnished with basic furniture, king sized bed, lean to desk, freestanding shelves and a chest of drawers but it can be unfurnished too.
The room is upstairs and is the larger of two rooms at the back of the house.
The other room at the back is very small and for friends and family to stay. It has a nice window sill with double glazing and has a window that opens over the flat roof and looks over the garden. It also houses the hot water tank for the heating system.
The second room is unfurnished apart from a built in wardrobe and a shelf and a storage cupboard however this could be furnished if required. This room is at the front of the house looking out on to the street.
We have lived in the house since November 2022 and the renewal for another year will be from February 15th 2025. One of the guys is moving south of the river and the other is moving into his own place hence looking to replace them both.
I'm 41, she/her, originally from Newcastle and work for an events company, l'm a vegetarian and make an awesome curry. The elderly cuddly cat is Jasper and he’s no bother - he might shout at you for food!
As I am early 40s I would like to live with people around a similar age range however it depends on the individual and happy to have a chat, ideally someone that doesn't work from home 5 days a week again up for discussion :)
Definitely not a party house but I like a nice pint and trips to the pub etc! I would like to live with considerate adults that clean up after themselves in the communal areas and pull their weight in the house like emptying the bins, hoovering and washing and putting the dishes away.
The house is opposite Wood Green crown court, a 5 minute walk to the Piccadilly line, there's a gym very close by and the mall for all shops too, there's also a big Morrisons and a Sainsbury's and Tesco local close by.
The deposit, you would be added to the deposit certificate scheme.
Really fast community fibre WiFi and there is potentially off street parking available depending on the size of your car.
You would need to fill out a referencing form for the estate agents.
I also have all kitchen equipment etc including an air fryer, coffee machine, microwave etc. I also have a tumble dryer and garden furniture too.
There are two bathrooms with toilets, one downstairs that has a bath and one upstairs that has a shower.
Downstairs there's a dining room in the middle of the house and then a separate living room with a sofa bed in for friends and family to stay.
Just past the kitchen there's a 'conservatory' which is a lean to shed at most! It has some leaks so if you're also handy like me with DIY I would welcome the help!
I work from home two days a week but happy to do so from my room and in the summer I work all around the country at festivals and events.
There are an abundance of house plants and there is a back garden with an apple tree.
The sheds belong to the landlord and are locked and the house is managed by the estate agent. There is also an air source heat pump outside.
There is also a side gate to the garden which is handy if you have a bike!
Smoking is fine outside in the garden just not in the house.
