I'm going to Edinburgh for a few months and I am renting out my spare room.
This is a two bedroom flat and I will be back a few times a month back in London for work. The room in the pictures in the room I am renting out, although the rooms has changed slightly since these were taken (pics on the wall mainly) and I need to get a handy man/decorator in to do some touch ups which will be arranged in the coming weeks.
It is a very generous size with a built-in Sharps wardrobes, private balcony and en-suite. There's also a balcony off the living room, both measure 4.5m x 1.5m. The bed is a king size Ottoman with a Simba mattress. There is a desk for working in the room.
The bills: council tax, energy, wifi, BT TV and water will be £250 per month.
I also have a Harveys water softener and the drinking water is filtered.
We are close the the Elizabeth Line, National Rail and DLR. The Thames Clipper is also 10 minutes walk away. The flat is in the lovely and quiet Trinity Walk development.
City Airport is 15 minutes door to door. Heathrow is less than an hour on the Elizabeth Line. Luton is a direct train and both Gatwick and Stansted can be reached within an hour by changing at London Bridge and Liverpool St respectively.
There's plenty of green space around (Woolwich Barracks/Common and Oxleas Woods are on our doorstep, Abbey Wood is one stop on the train) plus the Thames is great for fresh air and walks.
Woolwich Works and Woolwich Waves are top class entertainment and leisure venues.
This is perfect for someone working at Canary Wharf or Liverpool St or if you are thinking of moving to this part of London and want to try it out for a few months. I am quite flexible on timing, length of stay and midweek options too - any questions just ask!
