This lovely ensuite double bedroom is around a 5min walk to Woolwich Elizabeth Line station, which has great travel connections to central London!
THE FLAT
The room is in a three bedroom flat shared with two young professionals (female aged in the 25-28 range). It is on the second floor and has lovely views of the park opposite. There are three lifts in the building and there is a 24hr concierge just across the road.
The shared living space is an open plan kitchen/dinning/sitting room and has lots of natural light. There is a sofa bed in the living room which is perfect for guests!
The furniture included with the room is:
- one double bed with pull out bedside tables and four large under bed storage drawers
- one wardrobe with a hanging section and two large shelves for storage
- one chest of drawers
- [OPTIONAL] two stacked bedside tables for additional storage (to the right of the desk in the photos)
The en-suite bathroom includes a bath with a shower attachment and an additional storage cupboard (good for suitcases, spare bedding, towels etc.
The tenancy for the flat ends on 14th August 2025. Bills currently come to £105pm but this is subject to change (they are looked after by one of the other housemates). This amount currently includes energy, internet and council tax. Water is included in the rent. Council tax band C, Greenwich is the local council.
The flat is managed by Foxtons property management and they deal with all maintenance issues. They are pretty efficient at sorting issues and very friendly.
THE AREA
Within a 5min walk you have a GP, pharmacy, Tesco express, Sainsbury’s local and M&S food hall. There are also two popular pubs, a couple cafes all about a 5min walk away. Every Saturday morning this is a local market which sells fresh fruit, veg, bakery goods and other local produce.
The flat is a 5min walk from the river Thames. There is a lovely footpath that runs along the river which is great to walk along. A Parkrun goes along this path and starts about 5mins away from the flat. There is a residents gym on site (~£28pm) as well as a Puregym very nearby.
Walking a bit further into Woolwich town centre you have the Woolwich Arsenal DLR station, a Tesco extra (it is MASSIVE), Sainsbury’s, TKMax, Primark, Boots, Superdrug, Nando’s, McDonald’s and many more shops along the high street.
