Description

Flat info: rent is £1000 and bills approx £200. Deposit is £750 and transferred to the leaving tenant and name changed with the letting agent.

The flat is available 18th November but can be some flexibility around this whether earlier or later.

For clarity, female preferred as it's a female moving out and I've not lived with guys for 12 years and prefer the balance to be like this in a two-bed flat.

The flat has two doubles on the third floor and open plan kitchen/ living area with balcony which the bedroom has access to as well as from the living area. It has floor to ceiling windows throughout so gets a lot of light.

The balcony is perfect in summer as catches the sun the best parts of the day. The flat also has underfloor heating.

It's got great transport links and a short walk to Elizabeth line and Woolwich Arsenal stations (DLR, Thameslink) and buses/ night buses that often stop right outside the flat or just around the corner. Also close to majority of local shops and amenities

The room comes unfurnished although the vanity chest can stay if preferred. Similarly, the flat is furnished but the only thing that needs to remain is the sofa if you've other furniture to bring. There is a desk in the living area which can stay so readymade WFH space for you if needed.

The contract with the letting agent is for a year but is flexible if a replacement tenant can be found.

-------------------------------------

About me: I’m an Audio Editor, previously film and TV, but mostly podcasts and online content now with occasional freelancing. I'm usually in the office 2/3 days and WFH the rest.

I’m very easy going, like keeping the flat nice and chilled, and clean and tidy. I DJ as a side hustle but don’t blast out music at home, don’t worry!

Into all the usual stuff - music, film and tv, watching a bit of football, getting out and about exploring London, holidays and hikes, pubs and pub quizzes, Vinted hoarding…and bought a kindle a couple of months ago so reading a lot at the min!

Have had a great balance with my housemate over the last year and love having daily chats and catch-ups with her but both got our own things going on and the flat’s great for personal space too. I’m out quite a lot or tied to my desk hitting deadlines.

Ideally looking for a housemate who's got a few similar interests (if you're big into music, ace!) and isn't a total hermit and up for a chat and occasional beer/ pub quiz but also has their own stuff going on. While the flat isn't a meditation retreat it's definitely not somewhere for 6am afterparties.

Hopefully I've covered all relevant info but please feel free to drop me a message if you've got any questions about anything or want a viewing.

Thanks!

Rick
