Description
*UPDATED 12/04/2025*
With connections to Woolwich (Zone 4, Elizabeth Line and DLR) in ten minutes on the 122 and 386 buses, while also being close to Shooters Hill and Oxleas Woods, this one bedroom apartment with a balcony and car parking space gives you the best of city and greenery. There's also the 486 which takes you to North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) and Ikea, and Greenwich, Blackheath, and Lewisham are all within a 30 minute bus ride.
As a freelancer, my job can take me all over the world at short notice, so I'm offering this apartment either as the whole flat to yourself (£1750 including bills except council tax), or one room which would be the lounge converted into a bedroom (£900).
I'm open to renting from a few weeks to a maximum of 16 weeks (just less than four months), but ideally I'd like someone to be here for at least a month. Should my work circumstances change, I'm also open to a longer tenancy agreement which can be discussed.
WHOLE FLAT:
£1750/month includes rent and the following bills:
- Rent
- Heating and hot water
- Electricity
- Water
- Internet
£1750/month DOES NOT include:
- Council tax: Band B. This will need to be paid separately, but I can help you set this up, and it should be around £130/month for a couple. If you are a single person, there is a 25% discount from the council, so it should be around £100/month.
ONE ROOM:
£900/month includes rent, the following bills, and I will pay council tax for both of us:
- Rent
- Heating and hot water
- Electricity

- Internet
EPC energy Rating: B

I'm looking for people who'll look after my home temporarily: a professional couple or individual for the whole apartment, or a professional individual for the one room, with respect for quietness and sleep depending on both our shifts.
Any questions, feel free to message me.
It would be great to video call or meet before agreeing to anything, and I would advise a viewing in person too so you can get a feel for the place and the commute.
I will write us up a tenancy agreement so we both have confirmation of everything, and as part of this I will need ID showing your Right to Rent (passport, visa, or other documents as advised on the government's website) - this is now a legal requirement.
I will require a deposit - £2019 for the whole property or £1039 for one room - and it will be held securely in the government's Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). The deposit will be released from my side once the apartment has been checked over after departure, but it can take a week to process from their side.
I can provide references from a couple who rented my apartment for two years if you'd like to ask them about my experience as a temporary landlord.
About me: I'm a freelancer in the creative industries so I work a mixture of shifts. Rest after work is important to me, so I'm equally respectful of people's need for downtime. That said, I'm also sociable and enjoy a catch up in the kitchen depending on the dynamic of the flat. I've lived in this apartment for three years, but have been in London for over 15 - time flies! I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I like playing football and cycling, I enjoy spending time with friends, I can speak conversational Spanish, and as a worldwide citizen, I travel responsibly when I can.
Looking forward to meeting you!
