This room is offered at an extremely competitive rent - however, only full time working professionals who reguarly commute to their place of work will be considered.
You will be a lodger, but you will have the main bedroom. You'll have the entire place to yourself 99% of the time. Whilst I will officially be a live in landlord I will actually spend my time living with my partner (still locally) and this is the reason the room is avaliable. As a result, a trustworthy person who will respect and care for the property is required. You'll also have to be comfortable to be living on your own.
The flat is fully furnished - everything you need (if you can see it in the photos, it's there and can be used by the tenant). The flat has also been fully deep cleaned. All bills are included in the £1250 (council tax, broadband, electricity, hot water, heating) except a fortnightly cleaner, which you will pay for directly yourself. The tenancy is for one year only. There is the possibility for an extention after one year but it cannot be guarenteed.
Who this room would be perfect for:
A full-time professional, who needs to commute into the City, Canary Wharf or the West End for work (all are on the Elizabeth Line a short walk away).
Someone looking for a safe, clean and comfortable place to live on their own, who will be respectful of the property and of neighbours.
Who this room is not appropriate for:
Someone with lots of their own furniture. The flat is fully furnished - you cannot bring your own bed or sofa and no furniture will be removed from the flat. (Plenty of wardrobe space will be provided however, plus shelves and other space for your personal possessions).
People who work fully remotely (from home). The great transport connections this room has should be made avaliable to someone who needs them, so those who work fully from home should not apply. If you work from home one day a week, this is not a problem.
Couples, or someone who will have their partner staying over at the property with them frequently as this is a lodger agreement for one person. No parties or large gatherings (but you'd be welcome to invite a few friends over for dinner, a movie night or similar, from time to time)
