Description

Hello home hunters!

So unfortunately our flat mate Shauna is leaving us to move in with her partner.. “Boooo” - we know 😂
Shauna has been a boss flat mate and became a friend of ours, she will be missed. We’re looking for someone to replace her (no pressure 😂) & we’re after a good soul who is looking for a home, not just a room to rent. We didn’t know each other before we all moved in but have became close & this place is now what we collectively know as ‘Wavo’. It has a lovely vibe & great energy. We are a warm & friendly bunch here and will welcome our new flat mate with open arms. We just need someone easy going with a good set of morals really.

Who are we?

So my names Philly & I’m the tenancy holder. I’m 35 and a Musician. I’m well travelled, love anything creative & at home you’ll either find me in the kitchen or playing me guitar & creating in the living room.
Gemma is our other flatmate. She’s 29 and a legend from Huyton. She’s a DJ by night & works for an energy company by day. She’s always looking after us & loves making a big roast. Otherwise she’ll be in her room with the tunes on.
All that being said we will also chill & go out together, putting the world to rights and generally having a laugh.
We’re not precious about food and always share and cook for each other. You will never go hungry in this house. At the same time we are respectful of each other’s stuff and would never take without asking (except milk & bread etc). If you’re the type of person that puts your name on a bottle of milk then this is defo not the place for you.

The flat itself:

This is a former council flat just off Lark Lane on Waverley Road. Its a 1 minute walk to The Lane & 1.5 minutes to Sefton Park. For me it’s the best place to live in Liverpool.
These flats were built to house families in the 60’s and so are really spacious. It’s comprised of 3 bedrooms (with built in wardrobes), a hall way, 3 closets, a big living room, a decent sized bathroom and the kitchen which is the heartbeat of the flat & leads out onto the balcony. We also have 2 communal gardens, one at the back and one at the side which are great in the spring & summer.
The room is furnished. As it stands it comes with a queen size bed, built in wardrobe, TV wall-hang, drawers and a mirror. You are free to decorate it & make it your own. There are plenty of parking spaces outside.
Our area can be lively & it can be quiet, there’s no telling but on the whole it’s a peaceful place to live.
Disclaimer: This is not a party gaff or sit off. We will have a blow out from time to time and have friends over etc but it’s arranged beforehand & it’s not every weekend.
