Description
Hi there! I’m looking for a new flatmate to share my lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat, and there’s a furnished double room available from January 11th, 2025. The flat is on the second floor of a secure building in a quiet, green neighbourhood close to Sefton Park, Princes’ park, and Lark Lane. It’s a great spot in the city with good access to green spaces, amenities and bars/restaurants.
A little about me—I’m a PhD student who works in the office during the week. I’m outdoors-ey and love hiking, surfing, and honestly most other sports. I also enjoy reading, going to gigs, and cooking. I’m sociable and enjoy a chat but also value keeping the flat calm and friendly. I have a partner who lives elsewhere but will sometimes stay in the apartment to visit. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who works in an office or outside the home most days, and it would be great if we shared some similar interests.
The flat is quite well equipped including a washer dryer, a dishwasher, and a full-sized bath. There’s also street parking available if you drive. St. Michael’s Merseyrail station is less than a 20-minute walk away, and if you cycle, the city centre is about 15/20.
Rent is £500 a month for students or £565 for professionals (due to council tax differences). Wi-Fi and the TV license are included in the rent, and we’ll split the other bills like gas, electric, and water equally. The room is available for a minimum stay of three months, but if you’re looking for something longer-term, that works too.
Please note that smokers, couples, and (unfortunately) pet owners won’t be a good fit for the flat. A viewing and quick meeting will be required just to make sure we’re a good fit as flatmates.
This would be a great fit for a fellow graduate or mature student, or a professional who’s looking for a peaceful yet sociable place to live. If this sounds like a good match for you, get in touch—I’d be happy to answer any questions or arrange a viewing.
