Description

Available from APRIL 2026

Compact and cute little room with a double bed, small wardrobe, side board, bookshelf, chest of drawers and some shelving cubes. Walls are painted pink with one white wall around the window. Black out liner in curtain. Bed positioned by radiator so it’s nice and cosy.

I’m renovating most of the house myself, things are very basic around the house while the renovations are ongoing, hence low rent price and inclusion of bills in the low rent price.

Anyone considering staying here needs to be super practical and energetic. An extrovert/go getter sort of personality would be very happy and comfortable here. You would need to adore cats as three live on site (I bought the house for the cats) and prospective lodgers would be sharing a room with one of the cats.

The cats are: Whisky (17), Babushka (10) and Monsieur Cuddles (1)

Happy to have people work/study from home as long as they keep their work/studies to their room and make sure the cats have access to you/your room so they can come and chill with you while you’re at home/studying.

I’m a school crossing guard so I get up at 6.30am every morning to do breakfasts for everyone and get to my crossing for 8.15am. I’m also supply lunch cover at a local nursery so am often out of the house between 10am-2pm helping feed all the babies.

I’m not into late nights or loud things, I’m in bed by 9/10pm and I’m looking for someone who has regular hours and doesn’t go out partying, who likes to keep things chill at home.

I’m also a helpx host and have people come and stay from all over the world to help keep the cats company. I may occasionally have paying guests from Fairbnb come and stay as well. And have also hosted lots of activists who need accommodation during court appearances for climate/Palestine/animal rights actions that they’ve taken in the Merseyside region so anyone thinking of lodging here would have to be environmentally minded as well as care about human rights and animal rights.

I am mostly vegan/vegetarian but do occasionally eat meat as I’m not against the principle of eating meat or dairy; I’m against the commercialisation, capitalisation, commodifying and industrialising of farming and all the abuses that come with that level of exploitation of animals and the earths resources.

I hold house meetings once a week to have regular check ins and keep us all on track and hold a bigger house meeting once a month to plan what’s happening in advance for the upcoming month so we all know what’s going to happen and who’s coming and going and which cats are sleeping where and what needs doing and who needs help with what.

Looking forward to meeting you and finding a good fit for the house, me and the cats!
