Hey! I'm on the lookout for a new flatmate to join me in my bright and spacious 2-bed flat in L8 Croxteth Grove, right by the lovely Princes and Sefton Park.
A few things to know:
* The flat is rented from a private landlord, so reference checks will be required.
* The flat is on the top floor of a 3-story converted house, there are two levels of stairs and it is not accessible via lift.
* Rent is paid on the 1st of the month, so I’m looking for someone to move in from 1st August, or if the right person I would be willing to push this to 1st September.
* I'd love to arrange viewings ASAP, so please take a moment to read through the details below to see if you would be the right fit.
About the Flat:
* It was originally unfurnished, but I’ve taken care of furnishing everything (except the white goods which are supplied by landlord).
* Your bedroom comes with a wardrobe, a full-length mirror, and a chest of drawers. You’ll need to supply your own bed/mattress, but I’m happy to help with sourcing and being around for delivery before you move in.
* The bathroom is shared but I am clean and tidy and regularly clean communal spaces.
* I have a great relationship with both neighbours and we never have any noise issues.
* There is a garden however this belongs to the bottom floor flat. However, Sefton and Princes park are no more than a 5-10 minute walk away.
What I’m looking for:
* Someone sociable who enjoys a good movie night or hanging out, but also respects personal space and alone time.
* I work hybrid as an Assistant Producer in Manchester, so I’ll be around some days and away others.
* It’s important for me to live with someone who is clean and has respect for our living space. I value open communication and hope we can establish a good relationship where we can easily discuss any issues or concerns.
Costs:
* Rent: £397.50 each
* Council Tax (Band A): £55 per person, per month
* WiFi: £13 per person
* Gas/Electric: £35-£70 per person, depending on the season
* Water: Around £20 per person
In extreme winter cold, the maximum rent and bills usually come to no more than £600
