I'm looking to fill the second room in my cosy 2-bedroom terrace house in Wavertree

Located between Picton Road and Smithdown, it's only a 10-minute walk to ASDA and ALDI, a 25-minute walk to Sefton Park, and it has great transport links into town. Street parking is available and isn’t busy. The house is equipped with all the trimmings (wine glasses, lamps, plants, gas heating... y'know, the essentials!), the kitchen has all the basic electrical appliances including a washing machine, the bathroom is modern (and has a bath, lush), and your room comes furnished with a double bed, drawers and a clothes rack, and there is space for a desk if you're so inclined!

Rent: £615/month (includes bills, council tax, and a handful of streaming services on the tv), deposit is one month's rent. Rent may be negotiated slightly for commuters/part-week lodgers.

Available late July/early August, for a minimum term of 6 months. This will include a 2-month probation period, to ensure we are a good fit as housemates!

You'll be living with me, Brittany, a 34-year-old Lecturer in Sociology, who moved over from Melbourne 3 years ago. I keep it relatively low-key during the week, gym every other morning, I work from the dining room occasionally, and spend most evenings cooking and watching tv, and (if you're up for it) I enjoy a post-work tea/wine/debrief! On the weekends I'll get some house bits done, and then be out and about, seeing mates, or heading off for weekend trips.

I'm hoping to find someone that matches that energy. A young professional, up to hang out but does their own thing, financially reliable, clean and tidy but not overly pedantic, conscious of energy consumption, respectful and relaxed. If that sounds like you, please get in touch!
