Double room lodging in colourful L8 house

*About the house *
Double room available in a freshly renovated room, including double bed, wardrobe with drawers, desk with chair, mirror, bedside table, bin and laundry basket. The room will be available from mid September ideally for a 9 month contract but we are flexible and could consider 12 months for the right person. The room is also ready to go from start of September but we have some other house works we want to get ready before someone moves in so this could also be negotiated.

Please note this advertisement is for a lodger agreement, not a standard house share. Access to a shared bathroom, shared small kitchen, living room and dining area. We plan on having a weekly/fortnightly cleaner for the bathroom (included in rent) and we have a big clean once a week anyway. We want you to feel at home here and if you are new to the city we can certainly give some good recommendations for things to do.

The house is small but mighty, the kitchen is packed with lots of gadgets so if you enjoy cooking or baking you will be welcome here. We also like to host people and extend that to you. Our dining table can pull out to seat ten people so if you wanted to host your friends we would be happy to make ourselves scarce. Our living room has a pull out sofa bed so welcome for any guests you want to stay. Again, happy to make ourselves scarce if you want to have friends over for a movie night.

Council tax band A- included in rent.

*Location and transport*
We’re in a really good location. Short walk to Tesco and Lidl for groceries, walking distance to Lark Lane, Princes Park, Sefton Park, Otterspool and even town if you like a longer walk.

We are on the most iconic 82 bus route (straight to John Lennon airport) and walking distance to St Michael’s train station.

There is on-street parking although it can get very full. Possibility for bike storage as well in the future.

We are Victoria and Adam and we live here with our cat Waffles. She is an absolute angel and the friendliest little thing. We’ve had the house for two years and we’re at the tail end of a renovation project so you may notice some bits need to be finished like some stray painting or patches to fill in. We’re working on it! Next up will be the garden which is probably best ignored for now but luckily we have the two best parks on our doorstep.

Adam is into football, running, gym, xbox and listening to lots of music (Everything Everything, Tame Impala, Gorillaz, Don Broco, Robbie Williams).

Victoria is into gardening, baking, running, crafts (sewing/ cross stitch/ knitting) and also planning what next house project we can do. We both run a community Interest Company called Urban Grow Liverpool if you want to check it out and get to know us a bit better.
