Double room in Penny lane area - short term let

Large, quiet double room in beautiful, spacious terraced house. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and side table.

The house is in a side street off Smithdown Road, 1 minute from a bus stop for 74, 75, 76, 80, 86 bus routes into town (20ish mins journey).

As the owner, I live with one lovely lodger, Kwame. We socialise separately mostly but watch some telly together or eat together at home. I'm looking for a 3rd person to move into the front double room (not for WFH).

I'm about to move house so I'm looking for someone to stay short term only - the room will be free till at least the end of February, possibly March/April 2026. I will definitely be able to give a minimum of a month's notice.

Relaxed atmosphere. LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly. I'm 55, a wedding celebrant, and have a cute tabby cat, Mitzy, who is pretty quiet but friendly.

Both the living/ dining room and the kitchen/ breakfast area are really big and lovely shared spaces. There's plenty of space for us all and it's important that whoever moves in knows they can have friends or partners for meals here or to stay over whenever they like.

The bathroom and kitchen are kept clean, with plenty of storage space each. .

It's a very friendly street and there are loads of great bars, restaurants, shops and parks nearby.
