* Clean and respectful, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen
* Friendly and personable, but also values privacy
* A dog lover
* Not working from home — unfortunately, the space and setup aren’t suitable for someone remote working full-time
This would suit a professional who is out at work during the day and looking for a peaceful, tidy home environment with a bit of option canine company.
A bit about us:
We’re a married female couple in our early 40s looking for a female lodger.
We live in a quiet cul-de-sac just off the M4, surrounded by beautiful countryside- ideal for anyone who loves walking and peaceful surroundings. We are also about a 10 minute drive to the beach.
You’ll be sharing our home with us and our 2-year-old cocker spaniel, who has the most lovable personality. So, you must love dogs — in fact, ideally, you’ll think he’s the best part of the house!
We would ideally like someone who is happy to be sociable at times so that it doesn’t feel like we have a stranger living in our house, but at the same time someone who is also happy to have their own space. We make particular effort to keep the communal areas clean and tidy and are looking for a housemate who would also do the same.
Ideally, we’re seeking someone aged 30 or over, simply because we find a more mature vibe suits the house best.
That said, if you're a little younger but have a mature outlook and lifestyle, we'd still love to hear from you. What matters most is that you're responsible, respectful, and easy to live with.
Please note: We’re still adding a few finishing touches to the accommodation — including privacy glass and some final decorations. We’ve intentionally not filled the living area with furniture in case our future lodger would like to bring some their own pieces to make it feel more like home. The space is currently decorated in a bright, fun style, but we’re open to it being changed.
