Big, bright room in homely Enfield cottage

Huge, double room in Victorian house in a desirable neighbourhood for a relaxed and friendly person. Someone who appreciates a peaceful home perfectly suited for post-work downtime.

You'll be in a leafy area with a village feel, well placed for country walks and pubs, antique shops and cafes plus good access to central London — the best of both worlds. Transport links are great: 45mins to Liverpool St, 35mins to Highbury (Victoria Line).

You'll live in a cosy cottage with fast 500mbps broadband, terrestrial TV, and full communal living/dining access. In warmer months, you can relax in a tranquil garden with a book and a glass of wine. I do much of the cleaning, so long as you do a little when required. I also provide pans, crockery and cleaning basics and manage all bills but keep a kitty for toiletries.

I'm looking for someone who'll appreciate the homely environment and help maintain it. I'm easy-going as long as you're amenable to requests to keep the place clean and understand you're living with me in my home and not just digs. I'm a copywriter working from home and my ideal roommate is sociable yet independent and commutes to work on weekdays.
