Double room in a peaceful house with garden

Hi everyone,

We have a room that's available now as our previous flatmate had to relocatewith work, and we are looking for a new person to join us.

The house:

We live in a semi-detached 3-bedroom house on a quiet Harrow street, with a decent sized garden that has a blackberry bush, trees and two sheds.

The house has a kitchen, a living room with two sofas, candles and lots of throws and cushions, and even a box room which is perfect for visitors (and to dry laundry in the winter)!

The room is quite large, with a double bed, lots of storage and a view of the garden. It's very private; you aren't overlooked by our neighbours. The room is at the rear of the house and noise levels are very low.

About us:

Jani and I are calm, kind, clean, responsible and super easy to live with (our housemate wrote that bit, and we're keeping it) We've lived here for a few years and are settled, it's definitley a home. Jani is from Finland, runs his own photography business and loves baking (lots of amazing cookies!), and I'm from the UK, and work in social housing and run Breeze cycle rides on Sundays.

Transport:

We're five minutes from Harrow and Wealdstone station (zone 5) with direct links to Euston (15 mins), Watford (8 mins), Clappy J (25 mins). The Met line is 15 minutes walk away.

Practical stuff:

The rent is £500 plus bills (TV, water, gas, electric, broadband, council tax) are £100, so the total each month is £600. We're waiting on the the new counci tax charges from April, so there may be a slight increase.

This is a joint tenancy and you would have to provide references, ID etc. to our agents. Your deposit is protected. There are no fees thanks to changes in the law in June 2019.

The room is availble now and we're trying to arrange veiwings between 6.30pm and 8.30 pm on week nights, and possibly on weekends.

We are looking for someone responsible and calm who wants to share this home with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
