AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in HARROW, HA1 area, excellent opportunity for a Female preferred Homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.
We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.
TRANSPORT
The nearest London Underground services is Harrow-on-the-Hill provided by the Metropolitan line, it is a 4 minute drive and 10 minute walk from the house to the station this is travelcard Zone 5
South Harrow is a London Underground station on the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly line. The station is between Sudbury Hill and Rayners Lane. It is located on Northolt Road. It is a 4 minute drive and 10 minute walk from the house to the station the station is in Travelcard Zone 5.
Harrow-on-the-Hill is a railway station in Harrow, London Underground Metropolitan line services
There are a number of shops on the street.
HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her early 90’s and lives in a lovely spacious 3 bedroom flat in Harrow. She uses walking sticks to walk due to having a fall recently, she lives with her dog Kip who is a cross breed and a rescue dog he is very friendly.
She was a professional musician she still plays the piano and used to play the cello.
She enjoys watching TV musicals, documentaries, news and some series, always has the subtitles on as she cannot hear very well. She reads the independent newspaper.
The ideal candidate would be a female who can share intellectual interests and conversation, friendly, kind, they should like dogs and be happy to take him for a walk. If the homesharer can cook an evening meal on some days and help around the house with some shopping, tidying up, washing and laundry.
ACCOMMODATION
Spacious 3 bed flat there is a large living room, kitchen/dinning with 2 bathrooms. There is a lovely well maintained garden.
The homesharer will have a large bedroom with a bed in it, their own bathroom. The window in bedroom overlooks very quiet leafy garden, and there are cupboards, plenty of storage space.
There is WiFi available.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised
