10-15 minutes walk away
Description
Hello lovely, happy reading!
15 minute walk to Harrow and Weald station (overground) which has many fast routes to Euston. Multiple bus lines all stops within walking distance. Harrow on the hill station (met line) on bus is only 15 minutes away.
The room
We are looking for someone to join our household. The room itself is the biggest bedroom in the house and has an ensuite on the first floor and. is south facing with lots of sunlight throughout the day. The room is unfurnished. The room has a built in wardrobe and the ensuite has a toilet, sink with mirror, heated towel rail, and stand in shower. There is space for 1 more car on the driveway. Bills on top are currently around £120 (subject to change) and we use a company who organise this and it comes out of your own account. The rent we pay as one payment to our private landlord. The bills includes water, gas, electricity, board-band, council tax. Other house necessities we tend to share as and when needed.
Money breakdown
Rent - £850.00
Bills - £120.00
The house
As for the rest of the house, we have a good sized communal living room which is fully furnished. A large kitchen with 2 counter tops and lots of cupboards, weirdly no draws. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, cooker and washing machine and we have added our own kitchen appliances also. There is a second large bathroom on the ground floor with a double walk in shower. We have a large garden with patio and grass and a shed at the bottom. We have some garden furniture (chairs, BBQ, fire pit) but will always welcome more!! There is also a small box room on the first floor which can be used for extra storage. We are on good terms with the neighbours and there is a small corner shop 2 minutes away with a in post locker. The road is generally quiet and behind us we have allotments. We are near a Lidl, Iceland, and Waitrose as well as the main high street and Harrow and Weald station.
About us
We are called Siobhan (33yrs) and Ellie (31yrs) and we have lived with each other for a few of years now. Siobhan owns an old cat called Jabba who is very social and Ellie has a little frenchie called Sweetpea (they are free roaming around the house). We are social and like to watch TV together, dye our hair, and sometimes cook however we tend to all disappear to our own rooms when someone wants to go to bed to respect noise levels. We enjoy the occasional gathering/party with friends that has been agreed between us all. Ellie works as a manager in a garden centre locally (there are plants everywhere and more are always welcome) and Siobhan is a third yr student nurse and works in a theatre in central London front of house. Ellie has a boyfriend who generally visits ever other week and Siobhan is a single Pringles so partners are welcome to visit.
The first floor is shared with Ellie and Siobhan has a little room downstairs next to the kitchen.
What were looking for
We are looking for someone who wants to make friendships with us and the animals. Unfortunately we cannot welcome anymore pets as Sweetpea is not good with other pets apart from Jabba (which took a long time) but Sweetpea is fab with kids and. people. We are super chilled and enjoy each other company and have good communication between us. We would love someone who enjoys scary movies, fantasy, real crime docs, gaming, and general cosy night or a night out.
If this sounds up your street, give me (Siobhan a buzz). We will invite you over to gage a vibe and go from there. xx
