Why be a property guardian?

Our guardians get the opportunity to live in high quality buildings and places with large amounts of space at their disposal. Often unfurnished.

They get to experience many different locations which may otherwise be out of reach financially. Guardians do not have to pay any utility bills or council tax and can expect a licensing fee of £50 up to £100 per week.

This is the only cost they have to pay for their accommodation and they are free of the stress of dealing with utility companies and councils.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are now offering a video viewing of the rooms. The best rooms will go to the people who can make the viewing, move in quicker, and have all their documentation. Document requirements are listed below, we cannot hold a room for you without this documentation.

If you do not receive a reply then you have not been invited due to more experienced and long-term guardians attending. We prioritise current Oaksure guardians who need to be rehoused so once you are part of our team you can enjoy the locations, savings and flexibility we provide in what is undoubtedly a tough time to live.

Please apply if you are ready to move immediately, have the full DSP (Damage Security Payment) of £300, first month’s licence fee, understand the guardian scheme and are aged over 21.

A high resolution scan or photo of passport
Most recent 3 months bank statements proving income
1 tenancy reference
1 employer reference
