AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in STANMORE HA7 area, excellent opportunity for a Female homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
• 10-15 min walk to Stanmore London Underground on Jubilee line
• 5-10 min walk to local bus stop on Stanmore Broadway going to several destinations (142, 324, 340, H12, N98)

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her 90’s, lives in a lovely spacious 5 bedroom house with a lovely garden in Stanmore. She has a carer come 3 hours per week, she spends most of her day in the living room watching TV or reading.

She has mobility issues and uses a walking frame for short journeys and has a wheel chair for longer journeys. She is very alert and very inquisitive about what’s going on around her.

The ideal homesharer would be someone who is a driver with their own car, but not essential. Can drive/accompany her to some appointments, and occasionally work from home. In the evening if they can occasionally cook her an meal and spend some time chatting or playing a game of scrabble or such like board games with the householder.

Family/friends visit quite frequently, a carer comes in for 3 hours per week to take her shopping and to do some light housework and a gardener comes to maintain the garden. Her family feel that an overnight presence would be very beneficial.

ACCOMMODATION
Large detached 5 bed house with plenty of off street parking and spacious well maintained garden.
Downstairs large lounge, dining room, breakfast area, kitchen, toilet with sink.
TV in lounge
Good WiFi connection
The Homesharer will have a large bedroom with singl bed, sink in bedroom, a standing wardrobe, chest of drawers, beautiful bay window street facing. Desk can be provided if needed.
Separate bathroom with walk in shower, sink & toilet with an additional separate toilet.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available early June subject to DBS, Reference and ID checks and after an initial meeting has been organised
