I am looking for a Monday to Friday housemate to share a warm and friendly house with a live in landlady. Included is a fortnightly clean of the room, plus fresh linen & towels.

On offer is a newly decorated, furnished double room with shared use of a newly refurbished bathroom in a stunning, hugely extended Victorian house in Teddington in the borough of Richmond. It is a fantastic living space over three floors with two bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen/living room opening onto an attractive private garden. The house has all the usuals - wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine, cleaner fortnightly etc. It's a modern, light space with a great kitchen, a flat screen TV with Virgin Media. There is also fast broadband throughout the house. All bills are included in the rent.

I am a self employed professional designer with a home studio. My work involves a certain amount of travelling. I'm told I am really easy going, fun and young at heart.

I moved here 18 years ago and love the area. It is a nice place to live, with good transport links: 14 mins walk to Strawberry Hill (Zone 5) and Teddington (Zone 6) stations for Clapham Junction/ 40 mins to Waterloo, 10 mins bus ride to Richmond for main line station and underground (District Line), 40 mins journey by road to Heathrow. The M3 and M25 are within easy reach. There are no parking restrictions.

Bushy park is 10 mins walk as is Teddington Lock for cycling or walking along the towpath to Richmond. Lots of nice pubs and cafes within easy walking distance.

Amenities: Marks & Spencer, Tesco Metro and Sainsbury's Local in the high street and Waitrose at nearby Twickenham. A gym with a swimming pool is a 10 min walk from the house.
