Room in rural setting

I have a huge spare room in an old farmhouse available for rent to someone who prefers quieter country life. Short term let to start as family are due around the first week of April for a week or so.

Located half a mile from the Threipmuir reservoir - ideal for runners, walkers and mountain biking enthusiasts.

Applicants must be pet friendly - 3 dogs, a cat and guinea pigs; and not be a neat freak looking for all the modern bells & whistles - house is over a hundred years old and not the easiest to keep clean with all the animals around.

Room is very big and includes double bed, private seating area, dresser & cupboard space. I might be able to scare up a desk/table for use as such. We would share a lounge, dining room and pokey kitchen. Piano available to play, WiFi and chilled dogs. Massive garden if you have green fingers. Friends always welcome.

I am an easy going, laid back professional and part time undergraduate student. I'm looking for a housemate who likes to have a chat, and maybe cook dinner together a night or two a week.

Please note that it is a 10/15 minute unlit walk to the nearest bus stop - which will get you to town eventually. Best to have your own car or bicycle.
