Double ensuite in Bonnyrigg family home

Spacious double room with ensuite available on top floor of newly decorated home in Bonnyrigg - 2 minutes from bus stop taking 30 mins into the city. Last bus 11.20pm first bus 4.30am.
Free parking available on drive or in secured lit yard behind the house.
Available for single occupant only. Sorry, no couples.
2nd double room available on top floor sharing family bathroom on floor below. (£600 total.) Willing to consider two connected applicants but will not be inviting two new unconnected people to join the household at this stage. (Only the ensuite is available to a single applicant. Second room only to two connected applicants.)
Living with a family home - father and two teenage daughters (14 and 16). ( Long term partner of Dad is regularly at home also - and her young adult girls.) Female applicants preferred in consideration of daughters at home for obvious reasons. But willing to consider all applicants because you never know who is a good fit.
This is a friendly open family home with Dad and teenagers and their friends coming and going. Dad is from Aberdeen, runs his own plastering business and trains several evenings a week at local martial arts gym (3rd Dan Black Belt). Girls are at school/college. Everyone is out all day coming home to cook and eat together around 6.30-7.30. House of friendly banter at kitchen table( if you can understand the accent!) where people are happy to get to know you or give you your own space. Girls are well mannered - to guests though not always to Dad!
Happy to arrange a schedule that gives us family time and give you the kitchen to yourself to cook in private if wanted.
Restrictions - no cooking with heavy spices. Eg Indian or Chinese food. Really sorry but it stays in the air and hurts eyes/noses of two people in the house. (Third one loves it!) No random unannounced and unintroduced visitors ( friends welcome with notice and will be welcome whenever if they become regulars and if you start by bringing them in to say hi so Dad and daughters meet them and know who is in the house). If you work from home and want heating on above 19 degrees during the working day, you can have it if you pay for it - we can turn one radiator in and the smart meter will show the usage and cost).
