Double Room in Bruntsfield

Hi! We’re looking for a fourth flatmate to join our lovely flat in Bruntsfield.

We are three Irish and American women - one of us works in psychology and the other two are doing postgrads in archival stuff and education. We are friends and tend to hang out and chat quite a bit, and we’re looking for someone human, nice and tidy. We are two-thirds queer so being LGBT-friendly (and also pro-Palestine) is a must.

The flat is right in the centre of Bruntsfield, about a minute’s walk to the Links and Sainsbury’s and a 20 minute walk into the city centre. There’s also a bus stop to the city right across the street. It’s on the fourth floor so lots of stairs but very good views! We have a shared living room and bathroom and a newly renovated kitchen which is very efficient and fancy (we also have two full-sized fridge-freezers).

Women and nonbinary folk preferred! Please include a little bio with your message - we’ve recruited a few generations of flatmates at this stage and really look for people we think we’ll get along with, so we’re more likely to offer a viewing if we get a sense of someone’s personality :)

Other stuff:
- The room is let through a private landlord.
- Bills and council tax are not included and usually range from £80-150 altogether throughout the year.
- Both students and professionals welcome but you’d need to pay full council tax!
- As a flat we like to have dinners, go to the pub to play scrabble, have our friends over and watch Friends/The Office/New Girl/Grey’s Anatomy on a cyclical basis. We are known to play the occasional board game but one of us gets scary when she’s competitive.
- If you are part of a gay bookclub and/or have a tight five standup routine, we’d like to hear from you. Also if you come bearing a TV that would be great, because our current one hates us and won’t respond to our affirmations.
