Double bedroom available in Bruntsfield

Looking for a professional flatmate to rent a spare room in my 2-bed flat. You’d be sharing with me (live-in landlord).

The flat has a shared living room/kitchen and bathroom, with a relaxed, calm, homely feel. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, gas hob, and electric oven. I like the flat to be comfortable and lived-in but clean — I’d describe my approach to be 80/20 to account for busier times with work, etc. I would appreciate a flatmate who’s happy to contribute fairly to cleaning and shared responsibilities.

I work as a doctor, so my job can be busy and stressful, and I’m often out of the flat. Because of this, I’m ideally looking for someone who does not work from home, as it helps keep day-to-day routines, energy use, and bills straightforward and fair for both of us.

I also foster cats and currently have one staying with me, so it’s essential that you are comfortable having one around the flat. Being happy to help with basic cat care occasionally (feeding, litter tray, keeping an eye on them) would be a big plus.

I’m looking for someone respectful, clean, and communicative, who is seeking a room in a friendly, low-drama home.
