• Rent is £412 pcm each, expected to rise in September.

About me:

• 37-year-old gay guy born in Edinburgh
• Work for a local charity in Communications & Marketing, I work Monday to Friday 9-5 style with two days in the office and three at home.
• Generally do my own thing, big gamer, writer, and I fail at going on a diet and weight lifting.
• No expectations of you to do anything other than your own thing but not opposed to hanging out together now and then if you wish! I'm a friendly, easy-going guy.

Who I'm looking for:

• Strong preference for a flatmate who is LGBT+ or friendly (since I am)
• Male, 27(ish) to 50(ish)
• Quiet but not silent, not looking for a rowdy student party but totally fine with folk over, music, instruments.

I want to make it clear from the outset that whilst you'll have your own private room, you're paying half the rent so I'd expect and want you to take half the space too - I'm not looking for a roommate, rather a flatmate, please do come and make the flat your home too. I do, and it's a cool flat, especially in the summer, and I'm totally open to moving stuff about to make it a space you enjoy.

I've lived here for over 7 years now, and have a great relationship with my landlady, Susan. I don't rent from an agency and Susan has been exceptionally good to me in my time here. Susan would like to meet anyone who moves in, and you'll be on the lease just as I am, so full protections there.
