Single, unfurnished room with a large private bathroom and balcony with a view of Arthur’s Seat in a two-bedroom flat in Craigmillar.

The shared spaces of the flat are fully furnished with new appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, gas hob and oven, fridge and freezer, brand new boiler), a spacious kitchen and living room with a second large balcony. The flat is located on the first floor of a new residential building with a lift. The building is next to a park and off the main street with multiple takeaways, Tesco, a Polish shop, a hair salon and a barber. There’s a large public library, a GP and a recently opened local shopping centre with Lidl, Home Bargains and Greggs nearby while Fort Kinnaird and 24/7 Asda are just 2 km away.

Bus connections number 2, 30, 14 and 42 will take you to the city centre in 10-15 min. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the safe and convenient bike/walking routes towards the city (Innocent Railway), Cameron Toll and Musselburgh.

The flat is managed by an agency. The rent is 387.5 (might be subject to an increase depending on the decision of the flat owner), gas and electricity 25-35 (depending on usage), Internet 13 and Council Tax 71 pounds (band D).

You’ll be sharing the flat with me. I’m 25, working as a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh (based at King’s Buildings) and doing a PhD part-time. I’m working on-site. When not in the lab, I’m usually at the gym or bouldering, so I’ll be out most of the time. I’m tidy but rather introverted. Still, I’m up for a friendly chat or a hangout (until my social battery runs out).
