Description
Please kindly do not contact me if you are looking for a short-term place or are a student! This place won't suit your needs and it saves faff for both of us!
Anyhoo. I'm a young female professional working in admin at the UOE Vet School, and I'm studying part-time to become a counsellor. I'm pretty new to the city so love finding new places to explore. When I'm not working I enjoy chilling at home with some wine, boxsets and good conversation. As a flatmate, I'm tidy, quiet and respectful. I enjoy a balance of spending time on my own and socialising, and I'm looking to find someone on a similar wavelength.
My interests/hobbies include art, film, (that's what I did my UG degree in), culture, reading, cooking, writing, intersectional feminism, spooky stuff, and politics. If you're into any of those things we'll prob get along great.
We live in a lovely area, really close to the canal, a two-minute walk from Lothian Road, and a ten-minute walk to Princes Street. It's a surprisingly quiet side street we live on with a nice neighbourhood feel. There are about 5 small supermarkets nearby and a big Lidl about 15 mins away.
Rent is £475, electricity/gas/internet/TV license and council tax are around £150-£140 per month. (They're a bit more expensive at the moment because it's winter.)
The flat is fully furnished and includes:
- Washing machine/dryer
- Fully-equipped kitchen
- Cosy living room
- Shared modern bathroom
- Large storage cupboard
- Double glazing
My flatmate is taking the TV but I'm looking to get a replacement.
The room includes a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and two bedside tables.
There's parking available on the street but I think you need a permit first.
Flat viewings will be arranged by reply. The room is officially available from March 4th 2019. If you needed to move in a couple of days either side of that, then that would be possible.
£500 deposit required payable with the first rent. Our letting agent is Boyd Lettings.
Non-smoker, professional only (in view of council tax payments).
Can't wait to hear from you! :)
