I look forward to welcoming you to my beautiful flat nestled in a green haven just 25 minutes walk from the centre of Edinburgh with views out over the skyline (complete with new year fireworks at the castle). I live here with my wife, Hannah.

A bright private bedroom with a king-size ottoman bed, desk, luxurious pure wool carpet, and plentiful clothes storage is yours to make homely.

The shared bathroom features a radiator towel rail, rainfall shower, deep bath, a stylish ceramic sink atop a granite slab, and a lit mirrored cabinet.

The large open plan kitchen/living/dining room is a peaceful and sociable place to wind down in front of a large screen TV and log burning fire, or have a play on the digital baby grand piano. With an oak floor, a unique oak breakfast bar, a double oven rangemaster cooker with adjacent granite worktops, washing machine, dishwasher, and a good size larder cupboard, this is a tasteful, cosy and functional space.

Our garden includes a fruit cage, compost bins, greenhouse, and most importantly a sociable, sunny and cosy fire pit / BBQ area (complete with automatic spit roast, of course...) surrounded by fruit trees.

Surrounded by green spaces, including the famous Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (where Hannah works); this is a real haven. A large Tesco and Lidl are just 10 minutes walk away in Cannonmills along a leafy and lit footpath / cycleway.

I work from home and when work is done we enjoy good food and a bit of winding down time with a game or film and more than happy to socialise at the same time. At weekends we quite like to get away for a walk, climb, camp, swim, paddleboard, etc. and have space in the campervan for people to join if interested.

Rent includes wifi and all bills.

We'd like to have someone we can easily socialise with - friendly, clean, and tidy with a few shared interests would be ideal. It's not a party flat so if loud music and getting drunk is your thing then please continue the search elsewhere!
