There are local amenities including supermarkets and restaurants close by with the Western General hospital and Telford college not far away. It is well served by buses 16, 27, 29, 37, (N16 & N37), or a short walk to get buses 21 & 41 in Davidsons Mains. It is a 20 minutes ride to the city centre by bus.
The buses go to all areas of the city.
There is also easy access to the main routes heading toward the city centre, Leith, Gyle, Forth crossings or toward the city bypass.
