Hello, my name is Cat. I'm looking for a friendly and tidy professional or student to join me in the flat. I am a cheerful and sociable professional; I've recently graduated and I'm working as a mechanical engineer.
About the Flat:
The flat has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is located on the top floor of a recently built development. The building has a lift so there is no need to fight the stairs every day (unless you want to!). There is a panoramic view of Edinburgh once you get to the top, including a nice view of the castle. The flat is pretty modern and high-spec, benefiting from a modern open-plan kitchen and BOSCH appliances, including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There is also a Hive central heating system which is easy to control (useful during Edinburgh's winters!).
About the Room:
I have my own ensuite so you will have sole use of the larger modern bathroom opposite the bedroom. The room itself has a kingsize ottoman bed (handy for storage), built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and plantation shutters.
About the Local Area:
The flat is located on the edge of New Town in Bellevue, about a 15-20 minute walk from Edinburgh's city centre. Stockbridge, St. Andrews Square, Leith Walk and the Royal Botanic Gardens are all within a similar distance. There are also plenty of bus routes from either end of McDonald Road.
About Me:
I'm very tidy and love going to the gym, eating out and walking dogs (it's my side hustle!). I'm currently living in England with my boyfriend due to lockdown, so there's a possibility you'll get the flat to yourself for a while. Nonetheless, I will definitely continue to rent my room until September 2021; my office is in Edinburgh and I will ilkely be returning as some point this year.
Financials Matters:
All bills and council tax included. Rent is to be paid on move-in day, and then and the same day of each month thereafter.
Duration:
The duration of the tenancy is negotiable, although it is preferred that you would like you to commit for a minimum of three months. The notice period would be one month.
