We are looking for a flatmate to replace me in the New Year! I'm sad to be leaving this lovely flat, and my lovely flatmate Bryony who is staying on. This top-floor flat is warm and cosy, with a beautiful view over Holyrood Park.
The double room for rent is spacious and bright with lots of storage space, including a massive wardrobe and extra storage cupboard (seriously, you will never run out of storage space in this flat). The bathroom has a bath and shower and the kitchen is also nice and spacious with a gas hob. The living room is huge and in the Before Times was great for hosting board game nights, now it's also great for building blanket forts.
The rent is £450pcm (bills around £50pcm) and a student tenant is preferred for council tax reasons. The move in date is flexible from January to February 2021. Dumbiedykes Road is minutes away from the Edinburgh Uni Central campus and shops, and Holyrood Park is basically our garden! The city centre is about a 10 minute walk away.
The tenant you'd be moving in with is Bryony, a Chemistry PhD student at Edinburgh Uni; they are an essential worker and so work part-time from home and part time at the university. They are extremely covid safe and looking for someone who is willing to be the same. They're very friendly, clean and tidy and love to cook vegetarian food and listen to music (in the Before Times they enjoyed travelling...). They are looking for a sociable flatmate to make the flat a home, who also appreciates their own space and some peace and quiet. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly household and ideally any incoming tenant would be LGBTQ+ themselves or an extremely passionate ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
