About the room and house:
I have a lovely, light-filled, south west facing double room to rent in my house on the edge of Inch Park. The room is approximately 4m by 3m and has plenty of storage and a desk, as well as floor space for things like yoga. The bed is really comfy with a memory foam mattress!

The house is in a quiet no-through road, opposite a large park, in a lovely friendly neighbourhood. There is a large garden and off street parking (as well as free on street parking); There is a large living/dining room, with French doors onto the the garden, and a decent sized kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. The shared bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The house is really conveniently situated: Cameron Toll shopping centre is a 5 minute walk across the park and there is a large number (17!) of bus routes that pass nearby. It is a 15 minute walk to Kings Buildings and a 20 minute walk to the Royal Infirmary/Bio Quarter.

I want my lodgers to feel like this is their home (not just a 'room to rent') and feel comfortable in the shared spaces. I currently have one other lodger, Lidia.

About me:
I am an artist and (professional) gardener, with a wide range of interests. I'm pretty easy going and sociable, though not much of a 'party animal' these days - I prefer having friends round for meals and chats! Environmental concerns are important to me, and I do what I can to try and live sustainably (you'll need to be on board with this, though I'm not going to be draconian about it!). I don't eat meat, but I don't mind if you do.

About you:
I'm looking for a housemate who is considerate and reasonably clean and tidy. You'll be friendly but will respect my space (I will, of course, respect yours too!). You'll share my values of sustainable living and be open minded about different lifestyles (though mine is fairly conventional!).

The rent is £630.25pcm including some bills (council tax, high speed broadband, fortnightly cleaner etc). Energy bills are divided on a month by month basis.
