THE STUDIO APARTMENT
Self contained studio, annexed to my home providing you with a private space in a quiet neighbourhood.
It's a 10 min walk to local shops and the Barnton Bus junction for City centre buses, Glasgow, South Queensferry, St Andrews and Fife.
5 min drive / 30 min walk to Gyle tram stop. Airport 15 mins drive.
Local walks on the doorstep include Cammo Woodland Estate, River Almond, Cramond Beach, Dalmeny Estate heading out to South Queensferry.
Plenty of free on street parking in immediate vicinity and surrounding roads.
Studio has a double bed. It is ideal for 1 person who is either a student or full time employed individual who works/studies at a college/workplace.
Facilities / Furniture
main room includes a sofa (converts to large single size sofa bed), wardrobe & flat screen TV (freeview channels/HDMi connections). There's a good sized desk.
Bathroom has a shower, sink, and a height adjusted toilet to assist mobility impaired guests.
Kitchen includes a microwave, Bosch Tassimo T Disc coffee machine, kettle and toaster, full size fridge and freezer. There's a full complement of crockery and cutlery too. Under the kitchen sink you'll find basic cleaning kit & supplies. Other items can be added.
Private south facing patio with seating and table....yes, you can get a Wi-Fi signal when you're sitting outside catching the rays. During late Autumn and Winter I tend to put the patio furniture away.
The WiFi is provided by Virgin, its M500, 'volt' , fibre broadband. I use it to work from home and it works grand. However like all providers the service can drop and I have no control over that.
The central heating operates via a HIVE system early morning and evening in the Autumn and Winter. If you're cold and need additional heating feel free to use the large, portable radiator stored in the kitchen.
I'm sorry, I do not accommodate pets in this apartment. The apartment is not suitable for children.
There are no other bills payable (council tax, band G, utility bills are all included in the monthly rental).
