Large Double Room in Newington (Bills Inc.)

Hey everyone! My flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend, so I’m on the hunt for someone to take over his room. The room is available from December 12th, but there’s a chance you can move in a few days earlier if the landlord agrees.

The rent is £725 per month (all bills included) and the deposit is £450. You’ll need a guarantor or pay a slightly higher deposit. The flat is rented by a super responsive and easy-to-reach private landlord.

Location:
The first-floor flat is super central and in Newington. It’s behind a private gate and is super peaceful. It’s also close to the Meadows and a short walk from Cameron Toll.

The Flat:
The bedroom gets a lot of natural light and has plenty of space if you work from home. It also has a large walk-in wardrobe. The kitchen is great for two people and has a sofa and TV where you’ll often find me in the evenings. It’s well-equipped with lots of gadgets I’ve collected, including an air fryer/instant pot and coffee grinder. It also has a dishwasher, which is super handy. The bathroom has a large electric shower and lots of storage.

About me:
I’m an IT Consultant who works from home full-time. I’ve been living in the flat for two years now. I love cooking, so there’s usually something for you to try! I am quite into tech and more recently have started going to the gym. I enjoy socialising, so I’m always up for a drink, movie night, or making dinner together. I do also enjoy my quiet time and respect other peoples need for space! Since I work from home, I keep the communal spaces pretty clean, but I’m not against the occasional organised chaos. I also have Disney+ and Netflix subscriptions that we can split and save money on!
