I am a data scientist and my husband is a researcher at University of Edinburgh. We are looking for a professional female flatmate to rent out a double bedroom in our two bedroom flat. The flat is available from 8th of May for long term let.

About Flat: The flat is located within a relatively new apartment built by Cala homes in 2017. The room available is a double bedroom within this modern 2 bedroom ground floor flat. The room has got a brand new storage bed with memory foam mattress, a desk with an office chair and a double door mirrored wardrobe.

There is a sole use bathroom with bath tub, sink, toilet and a mirrored cupboard.

The kitchen is fully furnished with fitted dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle etc.

You would have your own private parking space. There is also a cycle storage room right at the entrance of the apartment.

We also have a patio garden that might be great to get some sunshine in summer.

About the locality: The flat is just 5 minutes off Leith walk which means that you get to live in a relatively quiet area but have access to loads of pubs, café and restaurants on Leith walk.

The apartment is a short walk from the iconic Playhouse Theatre and family-friendly Omni Centre, with its multi-screen cinema. If you enjoy shopping St James Quarter and Multrees walk are around 15 min walk from here. Tourist attractions such as Holyrood park, Calton Hill and Edinburgh Castle are all within walking distance. Edinburgh Waverly Train station is about 20 min walk. There is a Tesco and Sainsbury at 5 min walking distance. The bus stop on Leith walk is about 5 min walking distance from the flat and can take you to almost anywhere in Edinburgh.

Interests: We enjoy exploring different cultures and interacting with people from different backgrounds but we lead busy lives and respect privacy as well. We love going to cafes, luckily there are loads of them around.

We are both vegetarian but won't mind if the new flatmate has other dietary preference.

About New Flatmate: We like to keep our flat neat and tidy and would expect the same from our new flatmate. This is a quiet locality and night outs and parties are not encouraged in the society. Due to security concerns overnight guests are also not allowed.

Deposit: £800/-
Monthly: £800/-bills included (Council tax, Electricity and Gas, Internet)
