Double room available over the academic year25-26

I am looking for a lodger to share my three bedroom flat for the upcoming academic year. One room is available from 1st September. Students only due to council tax.

About me: I am from Toulouse originally and have lived there for most of my life, so I also speak French if you want to practice/are French. I am starting my fifth year of engineering. I am a relatively laid back guy, but I like to keep living spaces clean and tidy. My hobbies are practically all sports. I also enjoy going to the pub/clubbing occasionally and spending time on the meadows when the weather’s decent.

About the flat: £825/ month (this includes WiFi/TV and utility bills). There is also a security deposit of £825 (one months rent) to be payed at the start. This will be returned to you at the end of the lease providing there is no damage. The newly renovated flat is located in the Old Town, just off the Meadows, which is a central and lively part of town. However, the double bedroom available is at the back of the flat and is relatively quiet offering good privacy. The living room is large with plenty of seating. There is an open plan kitchen which contains all the necessary appliances and utensils. The central bathroom has a toilet, handbasin and electric shower.

In terms of infrastructure, there are a number of bus routes that run from the doorstep and the train station is a 10 minute walk away over the Royal Mile. A wide variety of food shops are close by and there are a plenty of sports facilities in the area as well. Parking is limited but it is possible to apply for permits in the area.

What I am looking for in a flatmate: Ideally I would like to socialise with you to some extent and not just co-exist :) If you share some of the same hobbies as me then great! If not then I am always excited about new ones and enjoy talking to people about what interests them. Happy to share with either gender, but would appreciate someone who is clean and tidy.
