Huge double room with ensuite in New Town (Canonmills area), available end of September!

We’ve got a large, newly renovated (ensuite currently undergoing renovation as seen in pics) and furnished double room available in our New Town flat from October 12th (when we pay rent). It’s the biggest room in the flat, with its own ensuite and loads of storage space!

The flat is a cosy basement flat with:

* Another bathroom with a bathtub
* Private garden
* Living room + dining area
* Kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine
* Shared hallway storage
* Two other bedrooms

Rent: £800/month
Bills: ~£150/month each, including WiFi, energy & council tax (Band F)

Location-wise, we’re very well placed: Waverley Station is about a 15-minute walk, big Tesco + Aldi are 5 minutes away, and King George V Park and the cycle path are basically on our doorstep.

A bit about us:

I’m Yousef, a software developer who’s into bouldering, music, cooking good food, chess and socialising.

Tolga is training to be a child psychotherapist and also loves bouldering, music, and chess.

We’re good friends and like hanging out together: watching films, heading to the pub, eating out and organising events/ hosting friends at the flat. We also appreciate having our own space and downtime.

I WFH pretty regularly, and our previous flatmate did too, so absolutely no problem if you’re also a home worker.

Overall, we’re looking for someone friendly and sociable who’d be keen to make the flat feel like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
